About the Team:

As a Government Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of government and public sector clients. You will identify banking needs and opportunities, provide tailored financial solutions, and ensure a high level of service excellence.

About the Role:

As the Government Relationship Manager,, you will be a hands-on leader responsible for managing and overseeing Government relationship. You will lead efforts in compiling data for audits, handling tax disputes and litigations, and ensuring accurate tax reconciliations. Additionally, you'll drive process improvements, providing strategic input on M&A transactions, and ensuring all taxation processes align with regulatory standards. This role requires a keen understanding of international tax regulations and offers an opportunity to contribute to PayUs strategic financial initiatives.
A successful candidate will work closely with, and provide support to other tax team members, the business and wider finance teams (Example; Controllership and Treasury) as we'll as other internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Candidate should have Branch banking management experience.
  • Candidate should be into Govt and Education portfolio and to hunt the merchant through banks
  • Inter City travelling will be key to perform the job.
  • Ability to meet CXOs and senior leadership
  • Experience of online business and navigate among banks and Merchants wrt Govt and Education.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects customer through cold call, referral, research & networking for the zone.
  • Responsible for driving revenue aiming to achieve monthly or annual targets, open to travel, easily collaborates with internal teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high-energy environment.
  • Collaborative working style. Must work we'll in a team environment.
