OT Staff Nurse

As a Staff Nurse at Max Super Speciality Hospital in Noida, you will play a crucial role in the Nursing - OT department. You will be responsible for providing leadership, ensuring patient safety, managing inventory and equipment, conducting training programs, and maintaining effective communication and coordination among the surgical team. - **Leadership & Management** - Supervise and lead the OT nursing team, including scheduling, delegation, and performance evaluation. - Conduct daily briefings and debriefings with the surgical and nursing teams. - Ensure adequate staffing and manage leaves and shift rotations. - Act as the point of contact for escalations within the OT. - **Clinical Care & Patient Safety** - Oversee pre-operative and post-operative patient care in coordination with the surgical team. - Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and sterilization procedures. - Maintain accurate documentation of surgical cases, instruments used, and consumables. - Monitor and ensure adherence to surgical safety checklists and protocols. - **Inventory & Equipment Management** - Monitor and manage inventory of OT supplies, instruments, and drugs. - Coordinate with CSSD (Central Sterile Services Department) for timely availability of sterile items. - Ensure all equipment is functional and coordinate with the biomedical team for timely servicing. - **Training & Development** - Provide orientation and on-the-job training for new nursing staff. - Organize continuing nursing education and skill development programs. - Conduct regular audits and mock drills (e.g., fire, code blue). - **Communication & Coordination** - Liaise between surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and administrative departments. - Facilitate clear communication regarding surgery schedules, patient status, and equipment needs. - Maintain discipline, motivation, and morale among OT staff. **Qualification Required:** - B.Sc Nursing or GNM qualification - Valid nursing license in India - 2-5 years of experience in OT nursing - Strong leadership and communication skills - Proven ability to manage inventory and equipment effectively,
