OT Staff Nurse

. Pre-operative Care:

• Prepare the operation theatre by ensuring all necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies are sterile and available.
• Check and prepare the patient for surgery as per protocol.
• Verify patient identity, consent, and surgical site as per hospital policy.
• Assist anesthetist during induction of anesthesia.

2. Intra-operative Care:

• Maintain a sterile field and assist surgeons during the procedure.
• Handle surgical instruments, sponges, and sutures efficiently.
• Monitor and record patient’s vital signs during the procedure.
• Ensure proper labeling and handling of specimens.
• Maintain accurate intra-operative documentation.

3. Post-operative Care:

• Assist in transferring the patient safely to the recovery room.
• Provide immediate post-operative care and monitoring.
• Handover patient details to the recovery staff as per protocol.

4. Infection Control & Safety:

• Adhere to infection control policies and aseptic techniques.
• Ensure proper sterilization and disinfection of instruments and equipment.
• Dispose of biomedical waste as per hospital policy.
• Report any equipment malfunction or safety hazard to the in-charge nurse.

5. Administrative & Other Duties:

• Maintain accurate OT records, checklists, and equipment logs.
• Participate in OT team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies.
• Attend continuing nursing education and training sessions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,086.00 - ₹30,714.04 per month
