Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and support

    Oracle PCA environments

    , including compute, networking, and storage components.
  • Manage and administer

    Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance

    — configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform system upgrades, patching, and capacity planning.
  • Automate provisioning and configuration tasks where applicable.
  • Monitor system health, availability, and security.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to support deployment and integration activities.
  • Prepare technical documentation and perform knowledge transfers to internal teams.


Required Skills:

  • 5–8 years of hands-on experience

    with

    Oracle Private Cloud Appliance (PCA)

    .
  • Expertise in

    ZFS Storage administration

    and management.
  • Proficiency with virtualization technologies (Oracle VM / KVM / Linux virtualization).
  • Good understanding of networking concepts (VLANs, IP management, storage protocols).
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
  • Excellent communication and remote collaboration capabilities.


Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to

    Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

    or hybrid cloud models.
  • Scripting knowledge (Shell / Python) for automation.
  • Experience with system monitoring and backup tools.
