Oracle Financial Functional Consultant

As a Senior Oracle Financials Consultant, your role will involve leading the configuration and implementation of Oracle Financials modules GL, AP, and FA. You will be responsible for translating requirements into system solutions, conducting gap analysis, process mapping, and designing solutions to align Oracle Financials with business needs. Your duties will also include managing system enhancements, upgrades, and patches to ensure minimal disruption to operations. Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities for compliance with accounting standards and internal controls will be crucial. Moreover, troubleshooting technical issues, developing functional specifications, conducting user training, and providing ongoing support to finance teams are essential aspects of your role. Ensuring data integrity and compliance with financial regulations and audit requirements will be a key focus. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading configuration and implementation of Oracle Financials modules GL, AP, and FA - Translating requirements into system solutions - Performing gap analysis, process mapping, and solution design - Managing system enhancements, upgrades, and patches - Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities - Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues - Developing functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions - Conducting user training - Providing ongoing support to finance teams Qualifications Required: - 6-10 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Financials with strong functional knowledge of GL, AP, and FA modules - Proven experience in full-cycle implementations, upgrades, and post-production support - Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance - Experience with Oracle EBS R12 - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment In addition to the qualifications required, the following attributes are preferred: - Oracle Financials certification(s) in GL, AP, or FA - Experience working in a global or matrixed organization - Familiarity with integration tools and reporting platforms (e.g., BI Publisher, OTBI) - Exposure to Agile or hybrid project methodologies,
