Oracle EBS Apps Technical Consultant (with Python Expertise)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Oracle EBS Apps Technical Consultant with strong Python development skills. The role involves building automation solutions, developing APIs, handling ETL processes, and enhancing Oracle EBS R12 modules. The ideal candidate will have a blend of Oracle Apps technical expertise and Python-based data engineering/machine learning capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain

  Python scripts

  for ETL processes (data extraction, transformation, and loading) from Oracle EBS modules.
• Automate repetitive Oracle EBS tasks (report generation, data validation, system monitoring) using Python frameworks such as

  Pandas, NumPy, SciPy

  .
• Design and implement

  RESTful APIs

  using

  FastAPI

  or

  Flask

  to integrate Oracle EBS with external systems.
• Work with

  MongoDB and SQL-based databases

  (SAS, Hive, Teradata, Oracle DB) for backend data operations.
• Optimize Python code for

  large-scale data processing and transformation

  tasks.
• Collaborate with Oracle EBS technical teams to customize modules and develop

  RICE components

  (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions).
• Build and deploy

  predictive analytics models

  for supply chain forecasting and inventory optimization.
• Support technical design, documentation, unit testing, and deployment of custom EBS solutions.
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency in Python (v3.810 or higher)

  with experience in libraries for data manipulation and machine learning (

  Pandas, NumPy, SciPy

  ).
• Strong

  Oracle EBS R12 Technical expertise

  with hands-on experience in

  SCM, PO, Inventory, and OPM modules

  .
• Solid understanding of

  SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle database architecture

  .
• Experience with

  XML Publisher, Blitz Reports, and Oracle RDF reporting tools

  .
• Good knowledge of

  ETL workflows, data integration, and API development

  .
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to optimize performance in high-volume data scenarios.
  
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
  

Good to Have:

• Exposure to

  machine learning workflows

  for business analytics.
• Knowledge of

  cloud data platforms

  (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience in

  CI/CD pipelines

  for Python and Oracle apps deployments.
