Oracle Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Oracle SQL and PL/SQL

  queries, procedures, functions, and packages to support business requirements and applications.
• Create and customize

  Oracle Forms and Reports

  to meet business needs.
• Develop and configure

  BI Publisher

  reports for various business functions.
• Design and implement

  Conversions

  (data migrations),

  Interfaces

  , and manage

  3rd-party integrations

  .
• Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, including

  requirements gathering, design, testing, implementation

  , and

  rollout

  .
• Provide technical expertise during

  System Integration Testing (SIT)

  and

  User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  .
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Participate in

  implementations and rollouts

  of Oracle applications in multiple projects (minimum of 3+ projects).
• Assist with developing technical documentation and training materials for business users.

Technical Skills Required

• Expertise in

  Oracle SQL and PL/SQL

  .
• Hands-on experience in

  Oracle Forms

  and

  Reports

  .
• Strong experience with

  BI Publisher

  for reporting.
• Familiarity with

  Shell Programming

  for automation tasks.
• Knowledge of Oracle

  Workflows

  for business process automation.
• Experience in

  data conversions, interfaces

  , and

  third-party integrations

  in Oracle environments.
• Solid understanding of Oracle

  E-Business Suite

  or

  Cloud Applications

  .
• Proficient in

  system integration

  and testing methodologies (SIT, UAT).
• Experience with

  Oracle Application Framework (OAF)

  is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience with

  Oracle Cloud Applications

  (Fusion) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with business users and technical teams.

Experience Required

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle SQL/PLSQL, Forms, Reports, and BI Publisher.
• At least 3 full project lifecycles (from planning to post-implementation support).
