Job Description

Position: Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)Experience: 6 to 8 YearsLocation: Chennai

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and manage Oracle databases across production and non-production environments.
Perform regular database tuning, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning using RMAN.
Monitor database performance and proactively implement enhancements.
Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with internal and external audit standards.
Perform upgrades, patching, and migrations for Oracle database environments.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support database-related needs.

Technical Skills Required

Strong hands-on experience with Oracle 11g, 12c, and 19c.
Proficient in RMAN, Oracle Data Guard, and Oracle RAC setup and troubleshooting.
Solid command of SQL and PL/SQL, with ability to write and optimize complex queries and procedures.
Experience with performance tuning and space management.
