Oracle Database Administrator

Role Overview: You are seeking a skilled Redis + Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join the team with a focus on managing, optimizing, and supporting Redis environments. Your responsibilities will include deploying, configuring, maintaining, and monitoring Redis clusters to ensure high availability, security, and performance tuning. Key Responsibilities: - Manage Redis clusters including setup, configuration, and regular backups. - Ensure high availability with Redis replication setups. - Configure Redis persistence mechanisms and perform upgrades and patch management. - Conduct regular maintenance tasks for Redis databases and manage key expiration, memory, and data flushing. - Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams for effective system integration. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields preferred, or equivalent work experience. - Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Redis DBA or in a similar role managing distributed databases. - Expertise in Redis clustering, replication, configuration, and operations. - Familiarity with Redis monitoring tools and networking concepts. - Experience with Redis Sentinel, Redis Cluster, and scripting for automation. - Exposure to cloud-based Redis deployments and data security practices.
