Oracle Database Administrator

Pay is up to 25 lakh based on experience.

You'll be part of a high-performing team supporting mission-critical systems in a cloud-first environment, helping ensure our data platforms are highly available, scalable, and secure.

What you'll be doing

• Deploying, configuring, and maintaining

  Oracle databases

  on

  AWS (EC2 and/or RDS).

• Using

  Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)

  for monitoring, alerting, automation, and diagnostics.
• Implementing and managing

  backup and recovery strategies,

  including RMAN.
• Performing

  database tuning,

  troubleshooting, and optimizing SQL/PLSQL.
• Managing database security, user access, encryption, and auditing policies.
• Supporting

  disaster recovery

  and

  high availability

  solutions (e.g., Oracle Data Guard, Multi-AZ RDS).
• Collaborating with DevOps, application, and infrastructure teams for CI/CD integration and cloud architecture improvements.
• Supporting database migrations and upgrades in a cloud-first environment.
• Participating in an

  on-call rotation

  to support 24/7 production environments.

What you need

• 5+ years of experience as an

  Oracle DBA

  in production environments.
• Strong experience managing Oracle databases in

  AWS Cloud

  (EC2 or RDS).
• Deep knowledge of

  Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).

• Expertise in

  SQL, PL/SQL

  , performance tuning, and database diagnostics.
• Experience with

  RMAN

  and database patching/maintenance.
• Familiarity with AWS-native tools (e.g., CloudWatch, IAM, S3) for database management.
• Strong understanding of

  database security

  , encryption, and compliance practices.
