Job Description

Conduct comprehensive
eye examinations
and
vision tests
using specialized instruments and equipment.
Diagnose and manage
refractive errors
,
ocular conditions
, and
visual disorders
.
Prescribe
spectacles
,
contact lenses
, and make appropriate
referrals to ophthalmologists
for surgical or medical treatment when required.
Educate patients on
eye health
, proper
lens care
, and
preventive measures
.
Maintain
accurate medical records
and
document all findings
in the patient management system.
Ensure
equipment is properly calibrated
and maintained regularly.
Coordinate with the
optical sales
and surgical teams for patient counselling, especially in cases requiring further medical/surgical attention.
Assist in
pre-operative and post-operative evaluations
in coordination with the surgical team.
Participate in
clinical audits
,
training sessions
, and
outreach activities
as required by the organization.
Maintain the highest standards of
clinical hygiene
,
ethics
, and
patient confidentiality
.
