Sales & Operations Head (Patna Homecare)

Role Summary:

The Sales & Operations Head Homecare will lead the entire homecare business vertical for the Patna region. The role involves driving revenue, managing P&L, overseeing day-to-day operations, building strong partnerships, ensuring service excellence, and expanding Medantas homecare presence in the local market. The ideal candidate should have strong business acumen, operational leadership skills, and experience in healthcare/homecare services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Revenue Generation:

• Lead overall business growth for the Patna Homecare vertical.
• Develop and implement strategies to meet monthly and annual revenue targets.
• Drive customer acquisition across nursing, physiotherapy, diagnostics, equipment, and other homecare services.
• Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, consultants, corporate partners, and referral networks
• Identify new market opportunities and service offerings to expand footprint.
  

2. P&L Management:

• Own the complete P&L for the Patna homecare unit.
• Monitor financial performance, pricing, costing, and margins.
• Ensure operational efficiencies to maintain profitability.
• Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and periodic business performance reports.
  

3. Operations Leadership:

• Oversee day-to-day homecare operations, including service delivery, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Ensure smooth coordination between clinical teams, technicians, nurses, physiotherapists, and backend support.
• Drive adherence to quality standards, TAT, and patient experience metrics.
• Maintain compliance with Medanta protocols and healthcare regulations.
  

4. Team Management:

• Lead and mentor a team of sales executives, coordinators, nurses, and operational staff.
• Set performance targets and monitor KPIs.
• Drive team productivity, training, and engagement
• Recruit and develop talent as the business expands.
  

5. Customer Experience & Service Quality:

• Ensure consistently high-quality homecare services across all offerings.
• Resolve escalations and ensure timely customer support.
• Implement feedback mechanisms to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  

6. Stakeholder Coordination:

• Work closely with consultants, departments, and leadership teams.
• Collaborate with central homecare leadership on strategy alignment and best practices.
• Coordinate with logistics, finance, HR, and marketing for smooth business operations.
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Healthcare, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 712 years of experience in homecare, healthcare operations, diagnostics, or related roles
• Proven experience in P&L management, sales leadership, and operational management
• Strong understanding of local healthcare market (preferred).
