As an Optometrist at Lenskart, your role goes beyond traditional eye check-ups to include sales as a crucial aspect. You will be responsible for providing technical expertise through eye-checks, dispensing, and diagnosis, while also engaging in selling products, executing stocktakes, and following SOPs to ensure exceptional customer experiences. **Responsibilities:** - Customer focus: Driving Net Promoter Score - Greeting and welcoming walk-in customers, guiding them to the clinic for a free eye check-up - Participating in stocktakes, maintaining sales floor standards, and other day-to-day tasks to enhance the shopping experience - Understanding the POS system for effective transaction processing - Prioritizing customer satisfaction and addressing any customer concerns - Eye check-up & dispensing - Following the 12-step Optometry process at Lenskart during eye check-ups - Clearly sharing prescriptions, educating customers on single vision and progressive lens, and recommending suitable lens and frames - Conducting quality checks on fitted lenses before handing them over to customers - Product recommendation - Offering customers an optimal product selection based on their preferences - Identifying unstated customer needs, asking relevant questions, and timing the pitch of recommended solutions appropriately - Achieving sales Vs. Plan & SOP adherence - Meeting sales targets, eye-test conversion goals, and returns targets while adhering to SOPs - Coordinating with customers for product pick-up post-sale and resolving return issues effectively - Store upkeep & maintenance - Maintaining store cleanliness and equipment upkeep as per Lenskart standards - Ensuring security of all equipment, maintaining stock levels, and preventing damages or shortages **Personal attributes & competencies:** - Minimum qualification: Diploma/Bachelors in Optometry - Freshers can apply; no prior work experience required - Building rapport and establishing trusting relationships - Understanding unstated customer needs and offering appropriate solutions - Effective communication and active listening skills - Adaptability to changing environments and willingness to learn - Proactive task ownership, result-orientation, and customer-centric approach - Ability to multitask and prioritize activities effectively,
