About the Role:
As an Operations Manager, you are the person who keeps the hotel’s heartbeat steady. From ensuring every room feels welcoming to making sure every guest feels valued, your presence shapes the guest experience.
This role is for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems with patience, and creating an environment where guests and staff feel genuinely cared for.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Daily Operations
Oversee Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other operational teams.Ensure the hotel runs smoothly, efficiently, and with a smile.Maintain high standards by guiding teams on SOPs and brand expectations.
2. Guest Experience
Be the friendly problem-solver guests look up to when they need assistance.Handle guest concerns gracefully and ensure they leave happier than they arrived.Spend time in guest areas to understand their preferences and build personal connections.
3. Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and uplift departmental teams.Encourage staff, appreciate their efforts, and help them grow professionally.Foster a positive work culture where teamwork and respect come first.
4. Financial & Resource Management
Assist in budgets, cost control, and forecasting for smooth hotel operations.Keep a close eye on inventory, ensuring nothing is wasted and everything is well-managed.Work towards achieving operational targets without compromising guest satisfaction.
5. Safety & Compliance
Ensure hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards are always maintained.Conduct regular checks to identify and fix operational issues proactively.Coordinate with maintenance and security teams for a safe and comfortable environment.
6. Communication & Coordination
Maintain healthy communication with Sales, HR, Finance, and Senior Management.Participate in meetings, share updates, and collaborate on hotel improvement plans.Ensure accurate reporting to support decision-making.
Skills & Competencies
· Strong leadership with a people-first approach
· Excellent communication and guest-handling skills
· Calm and composed during busy or challenging situations
· Solid understanding of hotel operations and PMS systems
· Ability to multitask with grace and efficiency
Experience:
At least 6–10 years of experience in hotel operations.
Personal Qualities
· Warm, approachable personality that puts people at ease
· Genuine passion for hospitality and service
· Detail-oriented yet flexible· Positive attitude, even on the busiest days
· Natural ability to motivate teams and build trust
Education
Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management / Hospitality preferred
