About Your Role
The Fund Administration team at Juniper Square is dedicated to delivering an exceptional experience for our clients, who represent some of the world's leading private equity and real estate investment managers. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Manager to serve as the central operational hub for one of our largest and most strategic private equity clients.In this critical role, you will act as the "air traffic controller" for the client relationship, ensuring the seamless execution of all activities and deliverables. You will orchestrate work across our internal fund administration, investor services, and technical teams to guarantee timeliness, accuracy, and client satisfaction. This position is ideal for a professional with a background in fund accounting or administration who is passionate about leveraging that knowledge in a dynamic, client-facing operational role.
What You’ll Do
- Client Deliverable Management
- Serve as the primary project manager for all client deliverables, including capital calls, distributions, investor communications, and financial reporting cycles
- Create and manage timelines, track progress, and ensure deadlines are consistently met
- Communication Hub
- Oversee and manage the client's dedicated communication channels, including inboxes and regular status calls with recap emails
- Triage incoming requests, delegate tasks to the appropriate internal specialists, and ensure all inquiries are resolved promptly and effectively
- Process Optimization:
- Proactively analyze client-specific workflows to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and improve the overall service delivery
- Relationship Management
- Act as the primary internal point of contact for the client's operational team
- Build and maintain a strong, trust-based partnership with the client by understanding their needs, managing expectations, and communicating transparently
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Liaise between the client and Juniper Square's internal teams (Fund Accounting, Investor Relations, Product, Engineering) to ensure alignment and the smooth execution of all requests and projects
- Documentation & Reporting
- Develop and maintain client-specific operational playbooks, procedures, and status trackers to ensure consistency, clarity, and adherence to best practices
 
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 4-7+ years of experience in private equity, venture capital, or real estate fund administration, fund accounting, or a related client-facing operations role.
- Proven experience in project management with an exceptional ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong client service orientation with outstanding written and verbal communication skills; you are comfortable interfacing with senior client stakeholders.
- A genuine passion for operational excellence, process improvement, and organization. You enjoy bringing order to chaos and prefer managing processes over performing traditional accounting tasks.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and Google Suite required.
- Familiarity with investment management software. Direct experience with the Juniper Square platform is a significant plus.
