Operations Head FMCG

As the Operations Head in an FMCG company, your primary responsibility is to lead and optimize end-to-end operations covering production, supply chain, logistics, quality, and vendor management. Your role is crucial in ensuring efficiency, regulatory compliance, and alignment with business goals. Key Responsibilities: - Strategic & Tactical Planning: You will be responsible for developing both strategic long-term plans and tactical short-term plans to achieve operational objectives. - Supply Chain & Inventory Management: Your role involves overseeing efficient supply chain operations and managing inventory to meet customer demands. - Production Oversight: You will lead the production team to ensure timely and quality production of FMCG goods. - Quality, Safety & Compliance: Ensuring that quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance are strictly adhered to in all operations. - Team Leadership & Vendor Management: Managing and motivating teams across various functions and building strong relationships with vendors. - Performance Analysis & Reporting: Analyzing operational performance metrics and preparing detailed reports for management review. Required Skills & Experience: - Industry Experience: You should have at least 5 years of experience in FMCG operations or production management within manufacturing or distribution. - Leadership Skills: Ability to effectively manage teams of 20+ employees across different functions. - Technical Proficiency: Strong analytical skills, familiarity with ERP/TMS/WMS systems, and expertise in MS Excel. - Process Excellence: Experience in implementing Lean or Six Sigma initiatives to drive operational efficiency. - Business Acumen: Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and strategic planning. - Communication: Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with internal and external partners effectively. - Compliance Expertise: Knowledge of food safety regulations, licenses, environmental standards, and safety regulations.
