Operations Executive

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage the seamless execution of day-to-day logistics and operational activities.

- Coordinate proactively with customers to ensure smooth cargo loading, unloading, and timely deliveries.

- Drive vendor development initiatives by identifying, evaluating, and nurturing reliable service partners.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring effective communication and service satisfaction.

- Handle post-shipment and after-sales correspondence to maintain long-term client engagement.

- Address and resolve operational queries and challenges with a solution-oriented approach.

- Liaise with shipping lines for the coordination of laden and empty container movements.

- Execute regional sales and marketing activities to promote company services and expand business opportunities.

- Coordinate cross-functional operations to ensure efficiency and process excellence.

- Generate operational reports, analyze performance, and identify areas for improvement.

- Execute management directives and ensure smooth implementation of operational strategies.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the logistics or warehouse industry.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.

- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.

- Proficiency in MS Office suite and ERP systems.

- Knowledge of Chennai warehouse operations is preferred but not required.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
