Your role and responsibilities
Proc Ops
Job Purpose
The Operations Buyer is responsible for procuring goods and services required for daily operations in a timely, cost-effective, and quality-compliant manner. The role ensures uninterrupted operations through effective vendor coordination, purchase order management, and inventory support. Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Purchasing

Source, negotiate, and procure materials, equipment, and services as per operational requirements.

Raise purchase requisitions (PRs) and purchase orders (POs) in accordance with company policies.

Ensure timely delivery of goods and services to support uninterrupted operations.

Vendor Management

Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors and suppliers.

Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors to ensure quality, pricing, and delivery standards.

Coordinate with vendors for quotations, lead times, order status, and issue resolution.

Cost & Inventory Control

Ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse/stores teams to avoid shortages or overstocking.

Support cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Coordination & Documentation

Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Finance, Stores, Logistics) to understand requirements.

Maintain procurement records, contracts, invoices, and vendor documentation.

Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and audit requirements.

Reporting & Compliance

Prepare procurement reports on orders, vendor performance, and spending.

Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and organizational guidelines.

Required education
Bachelor's Degree .
