Job Description

Staff Management: Hiring, training, supervising, and motivating staff in all areas of the restaurant (kitchen, front-of-house, bar, etc.). Operational Efficiency: Ensuring smooth service, managing inventory, overseeing schedules, and coordinating with kitchen and front-of-house teams. Financial Performance: Managing budgets, monitoring expenses, and ensuring financial goals are met. Customer Satisfaction: Responding to customer inquiries, addressing complaints, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Compliance and Quality: Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, as well as maintaining high quality standards. Menu and Pricing: Collaborating with chefs to develop new menu items and specials, and determining optimal pricing strategies. Reporting and Analysis: Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, costs, and other performance metrics. Marketing and Promotions: Organizing promotional events, implementing discount schemes, and managing online profiles to promote the restaurant. Problem Solving: Addressing issues that may arise during the day and finding solutions to ensure a smooth operation. Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels, placing orders for supplies, and ensuring sufficient inventory for all areas.
