OpenText CCE (StreamServe) Lead DTFS NA FRAMES Team

Role Overview

Lead the design, implementation, migration, customization, and administration of OpenText Communications Center Enterprise (CCE/StreamServe) solutions for the DTFS NA FRAMES team. Ensure high-quality document generation, platform performance, and seamless cloud migration.

Core Responsibilities

• Independently manage the full

  StreamServe application lifecycle

  : installation, configuration, code development, patching, upgrades, and administration.
• Lead migration of

  on-premises StreamServe

  environments (Design Center, StoryTeller, Communication Builder, Control Center, Document Broker, web apps) to

  cloud environments

  .
• Oversee major

  product upgrade initiatives

  , including version transitions and architectural updates.
• Administer platform components: OTDS, Tomcat, runtime, messaging, batch/on-demand processes.
• Manage

  template development

  (StoryTeller): letters, statements, bills, year-end forms, tax documents.
• Develop and translate

  functional specs into technical designs

  , write robust code, troubleshoot production issues.
• Capture requirements, design end-to-end CCE solutions, and engage directly with clients.
• Support day-to-day operations: real-time troubleshooting, batch processing oversight, technical support.

Required Technical Skills

• OpenText CCE/StreamServe expertise

  : Design Center, StoryTeller, Communication Builder, Control Center, Document Broker.

• Platform administration

  : OTDS, Tomcat, service management, runtime environments.

• Migration & upgrade capabilities

  : moving from on-prem to cloud, version updates, patching.

• Template authoring

  : diverse document types using StoryTeller.

• Integration & messaging

  : runtime messaging, batch, real-time delivery.

• Web app skills

  : solid experience with Storyboard/web components.

• Technical translation skills

  : ability to convert business needs into technical solutions.

• Troubleshooting proficiency

  : diagnosing and resolving functional or platform issues.
