Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Developer

Experience Level:

Job Summary:

Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Developer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations using

    Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

    .
  • Work with OIC

    adapters

    (REST, SOAP, FTP, ERP, HCM, etc.) to enable seamless data exchange between Oracle Fusion and external systems.
  • Implement

    mappings, transformations, and orchestrations

    using integration best practices.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into integration solutions.
  • Assist in developing

    OIC process automations

    and

    file-based integrations

    for various business functions.
  • Support configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of integrations across development and production environments.
  • Leverage

    Oracle OTBI and BI Publisher

    for basic reporting and analytics support as required.
  • Work under the guidance of senior developers or leads to ensure adherence to coding standards, documentation, and deployment processes.
  • Participate in

    code reviews, unit testing

    , and

    quality assurance activities

    .
  • Maintain integration logs, monitor performance, and support incident resolution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2+ years

    of hands-on experience with

    Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

    .
  • Understanding of

    Oracle Fusion Applications

    (ERP, HCM, SCM, etc.) and

    Fusion web services (SOAP/REST APIs)

    .
  • Working knowledge of

    XML, JSON, XSLT, and Web Services

    .
  • Experience with

    integration mappings, lookups, and scheduled integrations

    in OIC.
  • Basic understanding of

    OTBI and BI Publisher

    for reporting requirements.
  • Familiarity with

    VBCS (Visual Builder Cloud Service)

    for building simple user interfaces or extensions is desirable.
  • Good problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred / Good-to-Have:

  • Oracle Integration Cloud or Oracle Cloud Platform certification.
  • Experience working with

    Oracle SaaS extensions

    and

    PaaS for SaaS

    integrations.
  • Exposure to

    Agile development

    and

    DevOps deployment pipelines

    .
  • Familiarity with

    Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

    and connectivity agents.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong willingness to learn new technologies and Oracle Cloud tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
