Job Description

Overview

Position summary statementThis position provides an outstanding chance to join a top-notch team at Herbalife International, safeguarding the quality and safety of our products during distribution. As the Quality Assurance Distribution Officer for India, you will uphold our high standards, supporting our manufacturing goals.You will coordinate adherence to Herbalife requirements and global procedures during the warehouse inspection and storage of our products. Your work will strictly follow our quality assurance and control measures, identifying the standard methodologies for successful implementation at our distributions’ location in India.Key responsibilitiesThis position will be responsible for various QA activities on-site including but not limited to:

Performing AQL inspections for Herbalife products
Preparing and sharing rejection reports
Conducting product testing (Sensory, Hardness & Vacuum leak testing)
Inspecting and ensuring compliance with Good Storage Practices
Putting food safety management systems into action
Auditing and inspecting warehouse and supply chain locations
Providing training to distribution locations
Managing batch system entry and documentation

Organizational relationshipsYou will report directly to the Distribution Lead QA.

Minimum Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

Education

Graduation or Post-Graduation in a relevant field.

Skills

Experience in warehouse operations
Familiarity with Quality and/or Food Safety Management systems such as HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 22K, or FSSC 22k is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience

Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a related field
Industry experience in Nutraceutical, Pharma, or Food sectors
