In addition, we have annual production capacity exceeding 170000 Km of optical fiber cables and are expanding into optical fiber drawing units.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an OFC Cable Design Engineer located in Hyderabad. The role involves designing Optical Fiber Cables, conducting research, and utilizing software for the creation of graphics and cable architecture. Responsibilities include collaborating with the manufacturing team, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and continuously improving design processes.

Key Responsibilities:

•       Should have Strong knowledge of Optical Fibers and Optical Fiber Cables.

•       Should have hands-on experience of Design of Optical Fiber Cables

•       Should have Strong knowledge of Bill of Material (BOM)

•       Familiar with Plastic Materials and its applications.

•       Develop all required Cables Drawings, Cables Specifications, and Technical Data sheets

•       Develop all necessary technical documentation like Cable Compliances, Raw Materials Specifications, Tender Compliances etc.

•       Develop and manage design concepts for Optical Fiber Cables, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards.

•       Responds RFQs with in timeline

•       Coordinate with sales department and other departments to resolve technical related queries.

•       Collaborate with Sales and Customer to translate design ideas into functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces.

Must have good understanding of relevant standards like IEC, ISO, ASTM etc.

Qualifications

• 4-6 Years experience in Optic Fiber Cable Industry
• Experience in cable architecture
• Strong research skills related to cable design and materials
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• Experience in the fiber optics or telecommunications industry is a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
