Odoo Developer

As an Odoo Developer at our company, you will be responsible for developing and customizing Odoo ERP modules to align with the specific requirements of the organization. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code while collaborating with fellow developers, project managers, and stakeholders to identify and implement new features. Troubleshooting and debugging existing modules will also be a key part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should bring to the table 3-4 years of experience in Odoo development and customization. Proficiency in the Python programming language and its related frameworks and libraries is essential. Additionally, you should have a strong background in web development, including expertise in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Experience with PostgreSQL, Linux server administration, and Git version control will be beneficial for this role. Your analytical and problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you work on enhancing software development processes and practices within the team. Moreover, your ability to communicate effectively and collaborate in a team environment will play a crucial role in your success as an Odoo Developer. Experience with front-end development using JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular will be advantageous. Familiarity with data migration methods in Odoo, as well as awareness of the latest Json action changes and automations in Odoo 18, will be expected from you. Knowledge of odoo.sh, Odoo installation, and experience with server administration on platforms like AWS will be valuable assets in this role. As part of the development team, you will be expected to work according to agile software development methodologies. Understanding of other ERP systems and frameworks, particularly ERPNext, will be considered a plus. Your proficiency in Odoo 15 and the latest versions, coupled with a solid grasp of business processes such as accounting, inventory, and sales, will be essential for success in this role.
