Occupational Therapist

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Expertise:

• Assess physical, cognitive, and functional impairments impacting daily activities.
• Design rehabilitation programs focusing on independence in Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Specialize in neuro, orthopedic, or pediatric functional training.

Therapeutic Interventions:

• Provide customized therapy for motor re-education, sensory integration, and hand therapy.
• Recommend adaptive devices and assistive technologies for enhanced independence.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home modifications and safe activity practices.

Departmental Contribution:

• Collaborate with physiotherapists, psychologists, and nursing teams for holistic care.
• Maintain accurate records and follow standardized therapy protocols.
• Support setup and management of the Occupational Therapy Unit.

Research & Innovation:

• Contribute to case studies and ongoing research in functional rehabilitation.
• Stay current with new intervention models and therapeutic devices.

Business Enhancement:

• Develop specialized OT programs for geriatrics, corporate ergonomics, and home care.
• Conduct community outreach sessions and occupational health awareness drives.
