Job Description

As a member of our team at ACE, you will work with a group of children under the supervision of the Senior Programme Specialists. Your role will involve occupational therapy, assessment, treatment, management, and regular communication with parents. - Assess the students' fine and gross motor skills to develop appropriate treatments. - Collaborate with the junior programme specialist/programme manager to create a daily sensory diet tailored to each child's needs. - Implement programs focusing on functional and vocational skills, as well as sensory motor activities to enhance students' physical abilities. - Address sensory issues that impact daily functioning, such as feeding and play. - Maintain files and records, attend monthly clinics, and provide progress reports to parents including activity logs, treatment plans, and quarterly reports. - Offer suggestions for home programming and maintain consistent communication with parents. - Coordinate with the student's case manager to ensure progress in the classroom. - Collect and manage data using established methods at ACE. - Communicate monthly with families, share student progress updates via email, and schedule meetings with parents as needed.
