As a member of the team working under the supervision of the Senior Programme Specialists at ACE, your role involves occupational therapy, assessment, treatment, management, and regular communication with parents. You will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Assess the students" fine and gross motor skills to develop appropriate treatments. - Collaborate with the junior programme specialist/programme manager to create a daily sensory diet tailored to each child's needs. - Implement programs focusing on functional and vocational skills, as well as sensory motor activities to help students enhance their physical abilities. - Address sensory issues impacting daily functioning, such as feeding and play. - Maintain files and records, attend monthly clinics, and provide progress reports to parents through activity logs, treatment plans, and quarterly reports on student progress. - Offer suggestions for home programming and maintain regular communication with parents. - Coordinate with the student's case manager to ensure progress in the classroom. - Collect and manage data using established methods at ACE. - Communicate monthly with families, share student progress via email, and schedule parent meetings as needed.
