As a Child Psychologist at Orange Child Development Centre in Bengaluru, Karnataka, you will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, helping children with emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Your role will involve conducting psychological assessments, developing therapy plans, providing counseling, and collaborating with other professionals for holistic child development. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct psychological assessments and developmental evaluations for children with neurodevelopmental disorders like ADHD, Autism, and Learning Disabilities. - Develop individualized therapy plans based on each child's specific needs. - Provide counseling and therapy for children dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. - Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, special educators, and pediatricians to ensure comprehensive care. - Offer parental guidance and counseling to involve families in therapy. - Maintain detailed case records and progress reports. - Conduct workshops, awareness programs, and training sessions for parents, teachers, and caregivers. - Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in child psychology. Qualifications Required: - Masters or Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or Child Psychology from a recognized institution. - Experience in working with children with neurodevelopmental and behavioral disorders. - Proficiency in therapy techniques like CBT, Play Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, and Family Counseling. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team. - Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for child development. Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory): - Certification in Play Therapy or Behavioral Therapy. - Experience in child development centers, schools, or hospitals. - Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques.
