Job Description

To oversee and provide tactical occupancy planning expertise in the supply, capacity, and demand of Bansal Roofing Products portfolio of space. This role ensures optimal utilization of the company's various facilities (office, manufacturing, logistics) through strategic space management and planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and provide tactical occupancy planning expertise in supply, capacity, and demand of the company's portfolio of space.
  • Manage day-to-day change requests related to space.
  • Develop project space planning and solutions.
  • Provide project support, including client relationship management and project coordination for internal stakeholders.
  • Support site strategy related to space and occupancy analysis, solution outcomes, and utilization metrics.
  • Maintain and analyze Business Unit (BU) demand/supply information for space.
  • Monitor BU demand and supply against the approved space plan.
  • Work with internal departments on utilization data and sizing model information.
  • Understand and incorporate workplace strategy in long-term occupancy plans.
  • Identify tactical projects for implementation related to space optimization.
  • Create current and forecasted Stack Plans for various facilities.
  • Develop detailed space plans.
  • Monitor unplanned activity impacting space utilization.
  • Develop and expand relationships with key internal client/site stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve Employee Experience for planning.
  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure work is delivered within timeframe and agreed-upon scope.
  • Support change management as it pertains to changing workspace and work style within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related discipline or field of study (i.e., Architecture, Interior Design, Corporate Real Estate & Facilities Management Planning/Coordination, Facilities, Project or Construction Management, etc.).
  • Possesses strong analytical skills and the ability to develop conclusions and recommendations.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of CAFM software, space management systems, and relational database functionality.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in architectural and engineering drawings, concepts & design.
  • Experienced in managing projects of varied scope and complexity.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite software applications.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to build strong relationships with internal and external partners to deliver effective services.
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Assumes ownership of requests in order to ensure successful completion.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to handle concurrent projects with minimal supervision and direction.
