Obiee Administrator

We are seeking an experienced OBIEE Administrator with a strong background in administering and optimizing Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the installation, configuration, performance tuning, and ongoing maintenance of OBIEE 11g/12c platforms to ensure high availability and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer OBIEE 11g/12c environments.
• Manage BI Server, Presentation Services, WebLogic components, and related BI platform services.
• Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and optimization of OBIEE components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OBIEE, WebLogic, and BI system performance.
• Manage RPD development, deployment, and version control.
• Configure and maintain OBIEE security (Authentication, Authorization, Roles, Policies).
• Ensure seamless integration with Oracle databases, ETL tools, and external data sources.
• Monitor system health, perform patching, upgrades, and ensure high-availability of BI environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DBA, ETL, Application Support) to deliver robust analytics solutions.
• Generate and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and environment details.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in OBIEE Administration (11g/12c).
• Strong expertise in OBIEE architecture, WebLogic Server Administration, and BI components.
• Proven experience with RPD modeling, metadata layers, and repository management.
• Solid understanding of Oracle database concepts and SQL.
• Experience in configuring security, SSO, and identity management integrations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Good to Have

• Exposure to OBIA (Oracle Business Intelligence Applications).
• Experience in ODI (Oracle Data Integrator).
• Knowledge of cloud-based BI platforms or migration experience.
