Nursing Superintendent

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Superintendent to oversee and manage the hospital’s nursing department. The ideal candidate will ensure the highest standards of patient care, nursing quality, and compliance with healthcare regulations while leading a team of nursing professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate nursing operations across all specialty units (ICU, OT, Emergency, Medical, Surgical, etc.).
• Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies, procedures, and quality standards in line with hospital and accreditation requirements (NABH/JCI).
• Plan, manage, and monitor staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Conduct regular training and skill development programs to enhance nursing competencies and patient care standards.
• Guide, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to ensure professional growth and performance excellence.
• Collaborate with doctors, department heads, and administrative teams to ensure efficient multidisciplinary care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and patient care audits.
• Manage nursing budgets, supplies, and documentation effectively.

Qualifications and Experience:

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 8–15 years of experience, including 5 years in a senior supervisory or administrative role in a multispecialty hospital.
• Registered with the State Nursing Council.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of hospital accreditation standards (NABH/JCI) is preferred.

Salary: Competitive, based on qualifications and experience.
