Operation Theatre Duties: Prepare the operation theatre (OT) before each surgery with sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies. Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures by handing instruments and managing sterile field. Ensure proper sterilization and disinfection of surgical tools and OT environment. Maintain OT inventory and restock consumables as needed. Ensure all equipment is in working order and report any faults for immediate attention. Handle patient positioning, draping, and basic preoperative preparation. Dispose of waste and used materials according to infection control protocols. Anaesthesia-Related Duties: Assist anaesthesiologist in preparing and monitoring anaesthesia equipment and machines (e.g., ventilators, monitors, suction devices). Prepare medications, IV lines, and anaesthesia cart as per requirement. Monitor patient vitals and report to the anaesthesiologist during the procedure. Ensure post-anaesthesia recovery support until the patient is stable and transferred.
