Job Description

Primary Title: Registered Nurse (Staff Nurse)Industry: Healthcare — Ambulatory & Primary Care Clinics. Sector: Outpatient clinical services delivering patient-centred diagnostics, preventive care, and routine medical treatments across urban India. On-site role, full-time clinical nursing position based in India.

About The Opportunity

We are scaling a busy outpatient clinic focused on delivering high-quality, evidence-based primary care and minor procedures. You will be part of a multidisciplinary clinical team responsible for safe, compassionate patient care, accurate clinical documentation, and maintaining clinical governance standards.Role & Responsibilities
  • Perform holistic patient assessments and triage—record history, measure and interpret vital signs, and escalate abnormalities to physicians promptly.
  • Administer medications, injections, and IV therapies safely per protocol; monitor patient response and document in the medical record.
  • Provide wound care, suture removal, dressing changes, and basic procedural assistance while maintaining sterile technique and infection control practices.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in EMR/paper charts, complete handover notes, and assist with clinic audits and quality checks.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, medication schedules, vaccination guidance, and discharge instructions to improve adherence and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians, lab and admin teams to coordinate diagnostics, referrals, and follow-ups; support clinic safety and emergency response when required.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • GNM Diploma or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognised institute and valid nursing registration/license in India.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of hands-on clinical nursing experience in an outpatient clinic, emergency, or general ward setting.
  • Proficiency in medication administration, IV cannulation/infusion, wound care, vital-sign monitoring, and basic clinical procedures.
  • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) and familiarity with emergency response protocols.
  • Strong documentation skills and working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or clinical charting systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and local language; patient-centred attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced clinic.

Preferred

  • Experience in primary care, vaccination clinics, or ambulatory procedure rooms; prior exposure to infection-control audits.
  • Advanced certifications (ACLS) or training in outpatient procedure assistance and minor theatre support.
