NPME - NX/ Creo Design

As an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer, your main responsibility will be to coordinate the release of new products and product improvements by interfaces with Engineering functions. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Responsible for releasing the Super BOM to support Phase Gate Exists. - Performing Virtual builds to detect manufacturing build issues early and determine the best manufacturing strategy for the responsible module. - Launching, releasing, approving, and implementing engineering change orders as required to support design engineering for new/existing products. - Supporting New Product documentation by creating OMS for NPI/CIP Builds. - Coordinating with Design SMEs for Tooling Design & Testing fixtures to achieve quality manufacturing build. - Participating in New Product Builds and determining root cause analysis for any assembly or test issues; driving corrective actions. - Evaluating work methods, procedures, and policies to develop and maintain new business processes. - Applying DFx principles to reduce product costs and improve product quality. - Participating in Process Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis during New Product Development. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's or Equivalent degree in mechanical/manufacturing or Equivalent with 3-5 years of experience. - Experience with NPME NX / Creo is necessary. - Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing engineering discipline, product structure, bill of materials, root cause analysis, and material handling. - Strong skills in product technology, change management, problem-solving, communication, customer orientation, and quality. - Experience in NX Teamcenter, ERP Applications (preferably SAP), and Teamcenter Visualization is recommended.
