Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

  1. Design tooling using computer Aided Design tools (Ideally Catia/ Cimitron/ Solid works).
  2. Carry out engineering checks & reviews to ensure functionality of designs.
  3. Participate in projects reviews meetings from estimating to part manufacture & coordinate with customers regarding product technical support.

Reporting to- MD

  1. To Ensure scope & requirements are documented with change management.
  2. Support the Manufacturing team in ensuring parts are produced in compliance with quality standards and using the most efficient methods.
  3. Determine project timelines & feasibility at RFQ & reduce turn-around time(TAT).
  4. Knowledge of carbon Composite manufacturing processes using Prepregs and other processes like VARTM, LRTM, etc.
  5. Knowledge on Characterization of composites raw materials, fibers & resin systems.
  6. Determine laminates, sections & trailing edge for monolithic & foam components.
  7. Prepare & maintain laminates checks sheets, ply blocks & manuals.
  8. Interact with the customer to understand product & process standards.
  9. Maintain all documents of APQP & PPAP document review & submitted on time.
  10. Execute data release to shop floor & documentation activity for 2D & 3D data.

Preferred candidate profile:

  1. Knowledge of ISO9001: 2015,IATF: 2016, AS9100D audits as per automotive & aerospace standards.
  2. Knowledge of DFMEA/ PFMEA/ CTQ & prepare a feasibility report for part drawings received from R&D centers with Suppliers.
  3. Knowledge of carbon Composite manufacturing processes using Prepregs and other processes like VARTM, LRTM, etc.
  4. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills, a team first person with good command over written & spoken English.
