Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of professional experience with Node.js.
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript and the Node.js environment.
• Experience with Express.js or similar web frameworks.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and API development.
• Proficiency in database management and experience with databases such as MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of security best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
