Node.js Developer

Backend Engineer

This is a contractual position

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side components and APIs using

  Node.js

  and

  TypeScript

  .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
  
• Integrate and optimize backend services with

  SQL and NoSQL

  databases.
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness through clean, maintainable code.
  
• Develop and maintain microservices-based architectures.
  
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
  
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for software development.
  
• Work with

  containerization and orchestration tools

  such as

  Docker

  and

  Kubernetes

  (good to have).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 58 years

  of hands-on experience in backend development using

  Node.js

  and

  TypeScript

  (primary skillset).
• Strong secondary programming expertise in

  Java (Spring Boot)

  or

  Python

  mandatory.
  
• Solid understanding of

  ES6+

  features and modern JavaScript/TypeScript concepts.
• Proficiency in working with

  SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL)

  and

  NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra)

  databases.
• Strong understanding of

  RESTful APIs

  , microservices, and distributed system design.
• Knowledge of

  Docker

  ,

  Kubernetes

  , or other container orchestration tools (good to have).
• Familiarity with

  CI/CD pipelines

  ,

  Git

  , and

  cloud environments

  (AWS/Azure/GCP) is an added advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
