Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Node JS Lead with 4 to 9 years of experience in NodeJS, ExpressJS, and Cypress. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software development using NodeJS, ExpressJS, and Cypress.

Roles and Responsibility

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient software applications using NodeJS, ExpressJS, and Cypress.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
Develop and implement unit tests using Cypress to ensure high-quality code delivery.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving overall code quality.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of databases such as AWS DynamoDB, SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS Lambda, Cloud Watch, and S3.
Familiarity with RESTful services, Swagger, Tomcat 8, Maven, Sonar Cube, Jenkins, GIT, Postman, and JavaScript (ES6).
Good understanding of Agile Scrum methodology and version control systems like Git/Gitlab.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Experience working with international clients (UK & US) is preferred.
Experience migrating code from Java to Nodejs i.e., understanding Java code and converting it to Nodejs.
Experience developing secure, de-coupled, and resilient Microservices.
Good team player.
API Gateway, Sequelize, SonarQube, Datadog, Gov/NHS Service Standards, CDDO Technology Code of Practice.
