Node js developer

A Node.js developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications using Node.js, a JavaScript runtime environment. They work on building scalable, high-performance web applications, APIs, and other backend systems.

JOB & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop server-side applications using Node.js and related frameworks (e.g., Express.js).
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end systems.
• Build efficient and scalable backend systems to handle large amounts of data and traffic.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate server-side logic with user interfaces.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Integrate databases (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL) with Node.js applications for data storage and retrieval.
• Design database schemas and optimize queries for efficient data access.
• Implement data validation and security measures to protect against vulnerabilities.
• Write clean, maintainable, and modular code using best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Document code, APIs, and technical specifications for future reference and team collaboration.
• Write unit tests and conduct integration testing to ensure the quality and stability of the applications.
• Debug and fix issues, bottlenecks, and performance problems in existing applications.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Participate in agile development processes, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

REQUIREMENTS & PROFILE

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and understanding of asynchronous programming.
• Experience with Node.js and related frameworks (e.g., Express.js, Koa.js).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Knowledge of database systems like MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.
• Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Jest) and test-driven development (TDD).
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Knowledge of server-side templating languages (e.g., EJS, Handlebars) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Express.js: 2 years (Preferred)
• Node.js: 2 years (Preferred)
