NOC Engineer

Cywarden, Inc. is currently looking for a skilled and motivated NOC (Network Operations Center) Engineer to become a valuable addition to our expanding team in Mohali. As a NOC Engineer with 12 years of experience in network monitoring and technical support, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and uptime of our network systems, servers, and infrastructure. It is essential that you are comfortable working night shifts as part of your regular schedule. Your responsibilities will include monitoring network systems, servers, and infrastructure to guarantee performance and uptime, responding to alerts, troubleshooting issues, and escalating incidents when necessary. You will also be responsible for conducting routine health checks and maintenance on systems, accurately documenting incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system, and collaborating with internal teams and vendors to resolve technical issues promptly. Ensuring SLA compliance and timely issue resolution will be a key focus of your role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 12 years of experience in a NOC or similar technical support role. A strong understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, etc., as well as experience with network monitoring tools, is essential. You should possess the ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot system/network issues effectively. Excellent communication and documentation skills are required, along with a willingness to work in rotational night shifts. Preferred qualifications for this role include certifications like CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar. Additionally, familiarity with cybersecurity tools and protocols would be considered a plus. This is a full-time, permanent position that will require working night shifts. The work location is in Mohali, Punjab, and candidates must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
