Job Description Proficient knowledge of monitoring network uptime and performance, security, redundancy. Experience resolving client requests in a timely manner using strong troubleshooting skills Monitor and run batch job schedules, create schedules, coordinate changes updates with application teams Participate in code deployments, which are documented in runbooks Participate in monitoring tool maintenance, creation of new monitors and alerts Must have good experience of ITSM Tool Management and oversight of offsite/Onsite team from a Staff availability during P1/P2 issues, escalation management Hands-on technical experience in a support role, preferably within a NOC environment Excellent knowledge on monitoring network uptime and performance, security, redundancy. Understanding of one or more operating systems (Microsoft/Linux) is desirable Solid knowledge of TCP/IP and networking protocols Immediate error detection and effective troubleshooting using available tools to ensure critical incidents are identified and resolved with minimal time lost. Identify and research recurring issues and work closely with platform owners and support teams on long-term remediation plans. Managing incidents include problem assessment, research, escalation and resolution task management. Excellent knowledge to navigate within Windows and Linux environments, including but not limited to shell scripting, Windows service management Must have knowledge of Datacenters Operation processes Bash/PowerShell scripting skills are a plus Strong understanding of OSI, TCP/IP Model, L2 & L3 networking technologies Any Certification on RHSA, Security + or AWS certified Implement projects/assignments related to Infrastructure/Application maintenance etc. Expert in understanding the key concepts within Networking, Storage and Database technologies Strong understanding of OSI, TCP/IP Model, L2 & L3 networking technologies Strong understanding and troubleshooting experience in TCP, UDP, DHCP, DNS, ICMP, ARP, STP, LACP, MPLS, BGP Build and lead relationships for highly sophisticated customer accounts Conduct customer needs analysis and anticipate requirements beyond existing Shell scripting, Perl scripting or Python scripting experience is preferable Excellent time management, organizational, customer service, and verbal and written communication skills Bachelor’s in computer science or information security.
