Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Network Security Engineer with 3–6 years’ experience and strong expertise in NIPS, NTBA, and ATD solutions. The role involves implementation, administration, troubleshooting, and optimization of security platforms while ensuring compliance, performance, and SLA adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, configure, and manage NIPS/NTBA/ATD solutions across DC/DR/Cloud/Branch environments.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve security incidents (L1–L3 layers, packet captures, RCA).
  • Manage policies, exceptions, upgrades, patching, and compliance requirements.
  • Automate workflows using scripting/REST API/SDK and integrate with tools (AD, IAM, PAM, SIEM, SOAR).
  • Perform daily health checks, audits, capacity management, and SLA reporting.
  • Coordinate with OEMs for TAC, RMA, and escalations.
  • Create SOPs, documentation, and knowledge base updates.
  • Mentor and guide L1/L2 engineers.

Required Skills:

  • 3–6 years in network security with min. 3 years managing NIPS/NTBA/ATD.
  • Strong OS knowledge (Windows, Linux, Unix).
  • Hands-on with packet analysis (Wireshark/Pcap).
  • Incident/change/problem management (ITIL framework).
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience with automation (SOAR, Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with compliance standards (PCI-DSS, ISO, SOX).
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills.
