Role Overview: As a New Ventures Principal at Redesign Health based in Bengaluru, India, you will play a crucial role in identifying and building market-defining healthcare companies globally. Your strong background in business innovation and operational excellence will be instrumental in developing seed-stage startup ideas and collaborating closely with founding teams. You will report to a leader on the New Ventures team in the U.S. and must be available to work overlapping hours with Eastern Standard Time. Key Responsibilities: - Explore and analyze global healthcare markets to identify opportunities for innovation. - Conduct thematic research and quantitative analysis to refine ideas into high-conviction concepts. - Lead the creation of investment memos to support funding decisions in collaboration with New Ventures leadership. - Work cross-functionally with various teams within Redesign Health to orchestrate ideation efforts. - Advise existing portfolio companies and founding teams on strategic direction and operational execution. - Identify opportunities to leverage AI efficiently in Redesign's operational approach. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred, with a track record of high academic achievement. - Minimum of 8 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, corporate development, or management consulting. - Prior experience in the healthcare sector is necessary. - Proficiency in business model analysis, primary/secondary research, investment thesis development, and financial modeling. - Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail. - Interest in researching, implementing, and leveraging AI and other emerging technologies professionally and personally.
