As a Principal at Redesign Health, you will be based out of the India headquarters in Bengaluru and play a pivotal role in identifying and building market-defining healthcare companies worldwide. Your strong background in business innovation and operational excellence will be instrumental in developing seed-stage startup ideas and working closely with founding teams. Reporting to a leader on the New Ventures team in New York City headquarters/remote, you will spearhead the research, prototyping, and launch of new Portfolio Companies in the healthcare space. In this role, you will explore and analyze US and global markets in the healthcare industry to identify opportunities for innovation. Working collaboratively across various teams within Redesign Health, you will conduct thematic research, quantitative analysis, and lead investment memo creation to support funding decisions. Additionally, you will support existing portfolio companies and founding teams with company strategy and execution while identifying ways to efficiently leverage AI in Redesign's operational approach. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelors Degree; an MBA is preferred with a track record of high academic achievement. With 8+ years of combined experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, corporate development, or management consulting, prior healthcare experience will be essential. Your fluency in business model analysis, primary/secondary research, investment thesis development, and financial modeling will be crucial. You should have experience leading work with minimal oversight, a strong attention to detail, and a keen interest in researching, implementing, and leveraging AI & other emerging technologies both professionally and personally. As a candidate, you are action-oriented, managing ambiguity with ease and demonstrating effective communication skills across various audiences. Your financial acumen allows you to proficiently leverage financial and quantitative analysis to evaluate opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
