New Product Development Assistant

Reports to: Director/Head – Product & Innovation

Job Purpose:

The role of Product Design & Development (PDD) involves conceptualizing, designing, and developing innovative products in alignment with company vision, market demand, and industry standards. The position ensures new product launches are well-researched, functional, aesthetically appealing, cost-effective, and compliant with quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Concept & Ideation:
• Research industry trends, customer needs, and competitor products.
• Generate creative ideas for new products and improvements in existing products.

Design & Development:

• Work closely with R&D, engineering, and marketing teams to align designs with functional and business objectives.
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, and manufacturing derma products.

Testing & Validation:

• Coordinate prototyping, sample development of cosmetic/derma products, and testing for performance, durability, and usability.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, certifications, and safety guidelines.

Project Management:

• Manage product development of cosmectic products as per timelines from concept to launch.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, production, sales, and marketing) for seamless execution of ingredients and cosmetic/derma products.
• Track project costs and ensure cost-effectiveness in design.

Reporting:

• Provide regular progress reports to management.

Continuous Improvement:

• Monitor feedback post-launch and implement design improvements.
• Stay updated with latest formulations, ingredients, chemicals to be used in cosmetic/derma industry.
• 2–8 years of experience in cosmeceutical product design & development (experience range can be adjusted as per hiring level).
• Exposure to manufacturing industries such as Pharma, Cosmetic and Derma.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
