Hi, We are hiring for the Leading ITES Company for Network Support Engineer Profile. Overview A Network Support role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing an organizations computer networks to ensure reliable connectivity and performance. Professionals in this role are responsible for monitoring network systems, resolving connectivity issues, configuring hardware like routers and switches, and maintaining documentation and updates. They require a solid understanding of networking protocols (such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP), network security, and basic scripting. Typically, candidates hold a degree in IT or Computer Science and certifications like CCNA or CompTIA Network+. Network Support serves as a foundational role. Job Description : 1. Network Monitoring: Continuously monitor network performance, uptime, and security. Use tools like Nagios, SolarWinds, and Wireshark to detect issues. 2. Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems. Provide Tier 1/Tier 2 technical support to internal teams or clients. 3. Installation & Configuration: Set up and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Configure IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and VPN connections. 4. Maintenance & Updates: Apply patches and firmware updates to network devices. Maintain backup systems and recovery protocols. 5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of configurations, incidents, and network layouts. Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and troubleshooting steps. Required Skills Networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, or similar hardware Knowledge of network security principles Understanding of OSI model and IP addressing/subnetting Basic scripting (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, or Python) Typical Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field Certifications like: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) CompTIA Network+ ITIL (for service management)
