Network Security Specialist

Based in Pune, Maharashtra, you will play a crucial role in spearheading the firewall/remote user access/micro-segmentation domain within the APAC IT organization. Here is what you can expect in this role: **Role Overview:** You will lead the WW/APAC firewall/remote user access/micro-segmentation projects and ensure that global standards are defined and implemented. Your responsibilities will include owning the firewall/VPN L2/L3 ticket pools globally, working on external & internal firewall tickets, understanding global IP routing, SD-WAN architecture, managing the internal ticketing tool, patching/upgrading firewall firmware, collaborating with remote IT teams, creating periodic reports on firewall logs, monitoring firewall performances, providing feedback to the automation team, and being part of the on-call process across APAC. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead global firewall technology projects and operations - Own and manage firewall/VPN L2/L3 ticket pools - Engage with ticket owners to understand business requirements - Ensure security policies are followed during firewall openings - Manage and update tickets using the internal ticketing tool - Patch/Upgrade firewall firmware across APAC - Install/replace new firewall appliances as needed - Be part of new firewall-related projects - Create periodic reports on firewall logs for fine-tuning security policies - Monitor firewall performances and proactively suggest upgrades/replacements - Provide feedback to automation team and contribute code if possible - Be part of the on-call process across APAC **Qualifications:** - B.Tech / B.E (CS / IT / E&TC) from premier institutions - 7-8 years of industry experience in firewall/micro-segmentation domain - Hands-on experience with corporate firewalling solutions like Checkpoint/Cisco/Fortinet - Experience with Zscaler Private Access and Zscaler Internet Access - Hands-on experience with micro-segmentation tools like Illumio, NSX-T etc. - Good understanding of firewall blades and functionalities - Experience in SD-WAN Solution is an added advantage - Evangelist in cyber security with good knowledge of routing protocols - Basic understanding of Python, rest API - Experience working in an international team - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex firewall issues - Adaptability, quick learner, independent, responsible, and diligent - Strong team spirit, interpersonal skills, excellent written & verbal communication skills **Inclusion Statement:** Dassault Systmes is committed to building inclusive and diverse teams across the globe.
