Network Manager with Fortinet experience

As an Engineer specializing in Lifecycle Architecture & Engineering, your role will involve implementing and supporting solutions related to WAN, LAN, WLAN, and Virtual technologies, with a particular emphasis on Fortinet products. You will be responsible for client engagement, technology lifecycle development, and planning. Your key responsibilities include: - Providing engineering implementation support for systems hardware, Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper, and other relevant technologies. - Designing and ensuring technical accuracy in deploying Fortinet products for WAN, LAN, WLAN, and virtual technologies. - Implementing Fortinet SD WAN solutions and collaborating with a team of network engineers. - Producing integrated solutions design and support documentation tailored to meet customer requirements. - Taking ownership of design and critical issues, demonstrating creative thinking, and problem-solving skills. - Ensuring the protection of Verizon customer proprietary network information and Verizon information assets. In addition to the above responsibilities, the skills and qualifications expected from you include: - Strong understanding of SD WAN technology, particularly Fortinet (Viptela, Versa, etc.). - Excellent communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders, including clients and third parties. - Hands-on experience and design knowledge of the Fortinet vendor portfolio. - Ability to lead complex network and data center/cloud infrastructure projects, with certifications such as CCNA, CCDP, CCNP, or their equivalents. - Proficiency in IP-related protocols, focusing on MPLS/BGP VPNs, BGP, OSPF, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, SMTP, SNMP, DNS, and FTP. - Familiarity with technologies like Artificial Intelligence, RPA, AGILE/SCRUM methodology, or equivalent experiences. - Interest in cloud-based applications, virtualization, and security concerns related to network infrastructure. - Experience working in a multi-vendor environment, including but not limited to Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba.
