Network Manager with Fortinet experience

As an Engineer in Lifecycle Architecture & Engineering, your role will involve implementing and supporting solutions related to WAN, LAN, WLAN, and Virtual technologies with a strong background in Fortinet. You will be responsible for client engagement, technology lifecycle development, and planning. Your tasks will include providing engineering implementation support for systems hardware, Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper, and other technologies. Designing and ensuring technical accuracy in deploying Fortinet products for WAN, LAN, WLAN, and virtual technologies will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will collaborate with a team of network engineers to implement Fortinet SD WAN solutions and produce integrated solutions design and support documentation to meet customer requirements. Your role will require you to take ownership of design and critical issues, showcase creative thinking, and demonstrate problem resolution skills. It is also vital for you to uphold the protection of Verizon customer proprietary network information and Verizon information assets. Key Responsibilities: - Implement and support solutions involving WAN, LAN, WLAN, and Virtual technologies - Provide engineering implementation support for systems hardware, Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper, and others - Design and ensure technical accuracy for deploying Fortinet products - Implement Fortinet SD WAN solutions and collaborate with the network engineering team - Produce integrated solutions design and support documentation - Take ownership of design and critical issues, demonstrate creative thinking, and problem resolution skills Qualifications Required: - Understanding of SD WAN technology, especially Fortinet (Viptela, Versa, etc.) - Strong communication skills for internal and external interactions with clients and third parties - Familiarity with Fortinet vendor portfolio and hands-on design experience - Ability to lead complex network and data center/cloud infrastructure projects (CCNA, CCDP, CCNP, or equivalent) - Proficiency in IP-related protocols with a focus on MPLS/BGP VPNs, BGP, OSPF, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, SMTP, SNMP, DNS, and FTP - Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, RPA, AGILE/SCRUM methodology, or equivalent experience - Interest in cloud-based applications, virtualization (MCSE P&I, AWS CSA/CDE, VMware CMA, or equivalent) - Interest in security issues related to network infrastructure (CompTIA Security+, CISSP, SSCP, CRISC, or equivalent) - Experience working in a multi-vendor environment (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, etc.) Please note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description.,
