Job Description

As a Network Engineer, your role involves the following responsibilities: - **Network Design and Implementation**: - Creating network configurations, establishing connections, and implementing new technical solutions to optimize network performance. - **Troubleshooting and Maintenance**: - Identifying and resolving network issues, including outages, performance problems, and security breaches. - **Hardware and Software Management**: - Installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware, such as routers, switches, servers, RF devices (mimosa, ubnt, mikrotik router switches, cisco switch, huawei switch), as well as related software applications. - **Security Implementation and Monitoring**: - Establishing and enforcing network security policies, monitoring access, and implementing measures to protect data from online attacks. - **Collaboration and Communication**: - Working with other IT teams, including development, operations, and infrastructure, to ensure seamless network integration and performance. - **Documentation and Reporting**: - Maintaining accurate records of network configurations, troubleshooting steps, and project progress. - **Staying Current**: - Continuously updating knowledge and skills to adapt to new technologies and industry trends. - **Client Interaction**: - Providing on-site support and troubleshooting to clients, analyzing their network environments, and recommending improvements. - **Technical Expertise**: - Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, etc.), network security, and various network hardware and software. - **Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving**: - Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently and effectively. - **Communication and Interpersonal Skills**: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. - **Project Management**: - Ability to plan, execute, and manage projects related to network design, implementation, and upgrades. - **Adaptability and Flexibility**: - Willingness to work in various locations, including company headquarters, data centers, client sites, and remotely. You should typically hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Experience working with Windows Server, Exchange, and major Windows versions is often preferred. Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft certifications, are a plus. Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ConnectWise) is also often preferred.,
